We are half way into 2018 and there is a great lineup of upcoming Hollywood movies ahead that you can’t afford to miss. This year saw some bigwigs wiz ‘Avengers: Infinity Wars’, ‘Black Panther’, ‘Deadpool 2’, ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ and all these movies rocked the box office collecting billions of revenue in just a few days after release.

But there’s more as the fact that there is a great lineup of contrasting Hollywood movies that involves magic, spiders (sort-of), larger-than-life superheroes, dinosaurs, and much more to come. Here is a list of Top 10 upcoming Hollywood movies you literally can’t afford to miss and you won’t.

Ant-Man and the Wasp (July 5, 2018)

Any MCU enthusiasts here? Starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas, Ant-Man and the Wasp is slated to release on July 5, 2018. It’s the second installment for 2015 released Ant-Man and will finally answer the most asked question of the millennium, ‘Where was Ant-Man during ‘Avengers: Infinity Wars’?.

Gear up for this fictional and scientific action movie which will bring together the two budding superheroes kicking bad guy’ asses.

Hollywood’s charm and badass action hero Dwayne Johnson is back with his new American action movie directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber. The movie stars Johnson, Chin Han, Pablo Schreiber, Hannah Quinlivan, and others.

The fully action-packed movie is about Will Sawyer, an amputee and a former FBI agent living on the top floor of the safest skyscraper in Hong Kong which is under attack by terrorists. Sawyers takes the matter in his own hand but ends of being framed for the attacks executed by the terrorists.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout (July 27, 2018)

Is there anything better than ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’? The answer is yes and it’s the upcoming ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ which releases on July 27, 2018. Following its predecessors, Tom Cruise is playing the character of Ethan Hunt, an IMF agent who is interrogated by CIA when the last IMF mission fails miserably.

Superman-famed Henry Cavill is playing the role of August Walker along with Rebecca Ferguson, who is touted as one of the reasons moviegoers will actually watch the movie and others.

The Predator (September 14, 2018)

It’s an upcoming science fiction action horror film where the lead character accidentally calls The Predators to the Earth where they can cause massive destruction and more.

This movie is the fourth installment of the Predator series and sixth when two ‘ Alien vs. Predator’ films are included. The cast members include Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Trevante Rhodes, Olivia Munn, Thomas Jane, and others.

Venom is one of the Marvel Comics characters. Venom was last seen in the movie ‘Spider-Man 3’ opposite Tobey Maguire before Spiderman was rebooted twice. Venom starring Tom Hardy is about to make it to the theatre on October 05, 2018, and it will mark the first film set in Sony’s Marvel Universe.

Apart from Tom Hardy who plays Eddie Brock and his alter-ego Venom, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Reid Scott, and others will be seen in this action-packed superhero film. The year 2018 and 2019 are two most anticipated years for both DC and Marvel fans as there are many movies lined up to release in these two years.

Rowan Atkinson is back to tickle your funny bones with the third installment of 2003 film Johnny English and the sequel to 2011 movie Johnny English Reborn. It is a British spy action comedy film where Rowan aka Johnny English will embark on a new adventure as the sole secret agent to combat a massive scale cyber attack that revealed information on all undercover agents.

X-Men Dark Phoenix (November 06, 2018)

For those who have been closely following the X-Men movies, you’ll know that as ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ erased the events of the movie ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’ which didn’t receive much response, writer and director Simon Kinberg decided to change the interest of the movie to Chris Claremont’s The Dark Phoenix Saga.

Post the events of Apocalypse, the X-Men are battling dangerous wars and missions. Everything changes when Jean Grey, who is a powerful X-Men character loses control over her abilities and unleashes the Phoenix. James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Evan Peters, Nicholas Hoult and others will be seen in the movie.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (November 16, 2018)

It’s one of the most anticipated of 2018 as rated by moviegoers and Harry Potter series fans. The movie is based on Gellert Grindelwald, a dark wizard who escapes MACUSA after he was captured during the last film.

It is a journey of Albus Dumbledore and his former student Newt Scamander who set on an endeavor to capture the wizard while being tested for loyalty and love among family and friends. The movie is slated to release on November 16, 2018, starring Eddie Redmayne, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and others.

Creed 2 (November 21, 2018)

Creed 2 is the sequel of Creed (2015) and continues the heritage of Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky franchise. It’s a highly action-packed sports drama film starring Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Andre Ward, Dolph Lundgren, among other cast members.

Sylvester will play his character of Rocky Balboa who is with Adonis Creed ( Michael B. Jordan ) to train him for one of the most intense fights against an opponent who has a history with Adonis’s family’s past.

Aquaman (December 21, 2018)

The much-awaited solo Aquaman movie from the DCEU will release on December 21, 2018. The movie is based on Arthur Curry aka Aquaman played by Jason Momoa and follows the events after the film Justice League where he and his people and endangered with surface dwellers and are ready to strike on his command.

The gorgeous Amber Heard will play Mera, warrior, and daughter of a king; Patrick Wilson aka Orm who is a half-brother of Aquaman and the antagonist and others.
