HBO is undoubtedly the king of TV shows with shows like Games of Thrones, WestWorld, and True Detective. These are shows which are advisable to watch alone or keep your kids away. However, your kid may always find himself alone with TV or tablet open. Then he might see things which are inappropriate for his age.
HBO has also best kids movies or some good kids tv services. they have kept each type of genre which kids want to watch. but our responsibility is to keep secret adult content. that is why HBO has introduced child lock on their system.
HBO now has added the feature of Parental controls, and kids lock both in their streaming TV subscriptions and App. The kid section doesn’t have any adult stuff and has kids friendly shows. Parents can lock HBO anytime they want, and the only way to get rid of the kid lock is by entering the PIN which only the parent knows.
Then there is the Parental control, which censors the level of content on display for the viewers in both TV and Movies section. This again can be controlled by PIN.
How to access the Parental controls and kids locks?
- Tap the hamburger icon in the top-left corner of your screen.
If you want to access the kids’ section, just select kids after tapping the hamburger icon.
- Choose “Settings” from the bottom of the menu.
- Then select “Parental Controls.”
Now you can set the restriction for TV and movies.
For movies, you can either select G, PG, PG-13, R, and NC-17.
For TV, you can select TV-Y, TV-7, TV-G, TV-PG, TV-14, TV-MA.
You need to set up the PIN before you select either of these features. The system itself will ask you to set up the PIN. You can change the PIN anytime you want by selecting parental control from setting. HBO also gives you the option to generate forgotten passwords.
